If you don't have an iPhone or an Android but want to get Facebook's social media app on your phone, good news. The new Facebook for Every Phone is ending the phone discrimination that's been in place with the popular Facebook app, one of the most popular free apps at Apple's iTunes App Store and Android Market.

The new Facebook for Every Phone app will work on more than 2,500 Java-enbabled mobile phones.

This app not only includes Facebook's popular features, such as News Feed, Inbox, and Photos, but also enables you to upload photos and find friends from your phone's contacts, Facebook said in a company blog post.

The Facebook for Every Phone app is available worldwide through download, and users can find it at m.facebook.com, where they can click a download link.

With one easy download of this app, get all of what Facebook has to offer on your mobile device so you can stay connected with your family and friends wherever you are, Facebook said in the company blog post.

Facebook is partnering with global carriers and offering free data access with the Facebook for Every Phone app for 90 days. The carriers include several in India and Indonesia.

Currently, the Facebook for Every Phone app works with any Java-enbabled phone but Facebook says it is working on making the app compatible with even more handsets in the future.
