A Youtube video that went viral on the internet showing a women with a tattoo of 152 Facebook friends on her arm turned out to be a hoax.

Rotterdam tattoo artist Dex Moelker confessed that the tattoo and video was made for an advertisement, according to Dutch media. The video was produced to promote a Dutch firm that sells Facebook themed gifts.

It is a try out tattoo, a transfer, that washes off in a couple of days, Moelker said.

The tattoo was just a temporary tattoo that only took few hours to apply on her arms, far from 30 hours that Susyj87's Youtube video claimed.

The firm did get some buzz with the video being already viewed by 850,000 people online.
