Choosing a decent profile picture on Facebook was hard enough before the launch of the Timeline. Now the Social Media giant opens its users up to a new kind of challenge: Picking cover art.

For those who have ignored Facebook's biggest facelift to date; cover art is the backdrop of your profile page that people can view alongside your profile pic, which is now minute in comparison.

Facebook went live with its Timeline feature on Thursday, but users have been given a seven-day time period to design their profile page before publishing it. This includes choosing cover-art and deciding which parts of your life to chronicle in the all-new virtual scrap-book.

Cover Art selection is the first stage of the timeline conversion, and choosing it can be hard. In October Mashable released a few Websites that might help with the process.

The First is, Cover Photo Finder. The Website allows you to log in with your Facebook account and select from high resolution photos of nature and animals. The photographs are ideal for the long narrow template of the cover art page.

Second, FaceCoverz, which allows you to choose your photograph by categories including: Abstract, Animals, Arrows, Art, Awareness, Black and White, Brans and cartoons, just to name a few.

Third, MyProfileCover, which includes photos with motivational slogans incorporated into profile photos. For Example a black and white photo of Steve Jobs comes with the Slogan, Because the people, who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.

Fourth, CoverPhotoz incorporates its name in the shot, but allows users to choose from different categories and slogans.

BuzzFeed also uploaded a few creative examples that you can try out with your own camera and photo-shopped photos.

Users who have already started using the timeline feature, have used cover art to make a splash. Some convey political messages, favorite holiday destinations or pictures of pets.
