Arrow Season 5 start date
Oliver (Stephen Amell) finds himself in trouble without his bow and arrow in the “Arrow” Season 5 premiere on Wednesday night. CW

The premieres continue! There are several new shows starting to get you through the middle of the week, and reality fans in particular have plenty to look forward to on Wednesday, Oct. 5.

E! will bring two new shows, but you might know the stars already. “Total Bellas” is a spinoff from “Total Divas” following Nikki and Brie Bella. The new series will focus on the WWE stars’ lives outside the ring with their friends and family. In the premiere, Brie moves into John Cena’s house to help care for her sister after surgery.

After that, another athlete will be shown off on “Catching Kelce.” NFL player Travis Kelce is looking for love, and he’ll have 50 women (one from each state) competing for his attention. The 90-minute premiere will include an elimination.

Those looking for scripted drama can find it on The CW. “Arrow” Season 5 kicks off with Oliver (Stephen Amell) trying to work without his team. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) will quickly realize that the Green Arrow needs back up in the form of new vigilantes. However, Oliver will be in denial and try to balance his mayoral duties with his heroes. Meanwhile, the flashbacks will show his time with the Bratva.

After “Arrow,” a new series called “Frequency” will debut. Detective Raimy Sullivan’s (Peyton List) father Frank (Riley Smith) died while undercover with the NYPD in 1996, but Raimy gets a chance to talk to her dad again. A radio allows her to communicate with Frank when he was still alive. She warns him of his death, and he miraculously survives. It’s not all good news, though. Messing with time has serious consequences.

For something that’s a little more adorable, check out “Little Miss Atlanta.” This TLC reality show follows girls competing for the The Little Miss Black US Pageant in Georgia. The contestant range from ages 5 to 10, but it’s their mothers who are the source of real drama.
