Fall TV shows are starting, and a couple of favorites are returning on Monday, Sept. 12, along with a new miniseries.

Get your dancing shoes on because “Dancing With the Stars” Season 23 premieres Monday night. This year, the cast includes Olympians like gymnast Laurie Hernandez, swimmer Ryan Lochte as well as actors like “The Brady Bunch” alum Maureen McCormick and former “The Fosters” star Jake T. Austin. It isn’t just the stars who are famous anymore, though. Derek Hough is returning as a pro, and his sister Julianne Hough will be watching the performers on the ABC competition series.

“I’m not going to be dancing, but I can finally announce that I am coming back on to judge. I’m excited,” the “Grease: Live” star told Entertainment Tonight.

Those looking for something a little darker can watch “JonBenét: An American Murder Mystery.” This year marks the 20th anniversary of JonBenét Ramsey’s death. The murder of the 6-year-old pageant star remains an enigma, and this Investigation Discovery (ID) miniseries is one of several programs debuting this year that will explore the unanswered questions surrounding her death. Expect interviews with former Colorado Springs detectives, private investigators hired by the Ramsey family, the neighbor who made JonBenét pageant outfits and John Mark Karr, the man who falsely confessed to her murder.

If you need a late-night laugh along with some news on current events, check out the return of “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee.” In the Season 2 premiere of the TBS comedy, Bee interviews a Mexican immigrant who supports the political group, Latinos for Trump.
