Shameless premiere date
Fiona (Emmy Rossum) will not be happy about Frank’s (William H. Macy) survival in the “Shameless” Season 7 premiere. Showtime

It’s a new month, and there are still plenty of TV shows premiering. Several fan favorites are returning tonight, but there’s one brand new drama starting on Sunday night too.

The highly anticipated “Westworld” kicks off on HBO tonight. The show, based on Michael Crichton’s 1973 movie, follows an Old West theme park. The futuristic series has lots of artificial intelligence, but new technology always has a few bugs to work out.

Sci-fi fans can also watch “Ash vs. Evil Dead” Season 2. When the Starz drama returns, Ash (Bruce Campbell) goes to his hometown with Pablo (Ray Santiago) and Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) to form an unexpected alliance. However, Ash might be distracted by his lackluster welcoming. His father will not be throwing a homecoming parade.

There are plenty of reasons to laugh airing tonight too. “America’s Funniest Home Videos” launches Season 27 on ABC, but those looking for something raunchier can tune into “Shameless” on Showtime. In the Season 7 premiere, Frank (William H. Macy) reveals that he isn’t dead, Debbie (Emma Kenney) starts stealing and Lip (Jeremy Allen White) gets out of rehab.

Drama fans can tune into CBS. In the “Madam Secretary” Season 3 premiere, Elizabeth (Téa Leoni) has to ask President Dalton (Keith Carradine) to reevaluate his climate change and foreign policies after a naval base in Bahrain is destroyed. It’s an election year, so the President might not be open to that. Then, on “Elementary” Season 5, Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) and Watson (Lucy Liu) help the NYPD with their search for a serial bomber.

Reality fans fan check out “WAGS Miami.” The new spin-off follows the wives and girlfriends of men from the Green Bay Packers, Baltimore Ravens, Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins. Some of the ladies are single with exes who are athletes, like model Metisha Schaefer. Her ex-boyfriend Larry English is now engaged to Nicole Williams, a star of the original “WAGS.”
