After spending Thanksgiving Day together, Rihanna also showed just how close she and Chris Brown are nowadays -- tweeting a picture of him in bed shirtless.

Some fans were not impressed. “Will NOT feel sorry for you when he whoop yo [sic] behind again,” wrote taraiskewl in response to the photo of Brown, referring to his 2009 assault, which left Rihanna with a black eye and other bruises.

Another supported Rihanna for talking to Brown again. “[Expletive] the hatersss! I can relate to a lot of [expletive] you guys been thru [sic] rih. If hes [sic] changed and happy with himself good for him. if you’ve [sic] forgiven him & moved on with your life good for you.

"He knows he [expletive] up - just stand your ground and dont [sic] let the walls you built crumble. the reaaal #rihannanavy is 100% behind you girl,” said Instagram user evil___mermaid.

According to Hollywoodlife, Rihanna, 24, also attended Brown’s concert in Germany, where he is currently on a European tour, and she then partied with him after the show before leaving with him in the same vehicle on Thanksgiving Eve.

Just earlier this month, Rihanna told Bravo host Andy Cohen that the two were not together, and Brown said the same thing when he was asked by radio host Big Boy if they were romantically involved.

"No. I put a webisode out explaining my situation. And with that it's just me being honest with myself. Me and her [sic] have history and me and her will always be the best of friends. We're working on our friendship now,” Brown said.

"Everyone feels so attached to this situation. It's still detrimental today, but that's why I'm doing the Genesse Center to show domestic violence is not OK. But as far as our personal life - people got to give it a chance.

"Not even a chance, they need to shut the hell up. It's me. At the end of the day, whatever opinion they have ain't going to change nothing I'm doing. ... They're the fans, so sit back and watch. That's all you're doing anyway."

Though they may not be back together officially, back in August, Rihanna told Oprah during an exclusive interview that Brown was her first love and that she believes he is the love of her life.
