Good news for Potterheads: J.K. Rowling has just announced that there will be four more movies after “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” premieres this November.

“We always knew it was going to be more than one movie,” said Rowling, according to Slate. “We’ve now done the plotting properly, so we’re pretty sure it’s going to be five movies.”

Rowling’s announcement was greeted by a lot of enthusiastic response. When the official “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” Twitter page shared this piece of news, fans went wild.

“THIS IS LIKE CHRISTMAS AND BIRTHDAY FIVE TIMES AT ONCE! Thank you thank you!” a grateful fan commented.

“The waiting game is the hard part!” acknowledged another fan. “Truly brilliant. I look forward to an expansion of the wizarding world.”

A lot of fans shared their excitement by screaming online and sharing cyber hugs. Another fan already surmised, “5 more movies in the Harry Potter universe. My guess is 2 more Fantastic Beasts movies and a Cursed Child trilogy,” referring to the screenplay version based on the life of Harry’s son Albus Severus, who was surprisingly sorted into Slytherin.

Earlier, the movie’s producer David Heyman promised that the film will still evoke the same level of awe and wonder as the first eight “Harry Potter” films. “The ‘Potter’ films and this film all emanate from a place of character. Newt is an outsider, a bit like all of [J.K.’s] characters,” he told The New York Times.

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” lead star Eddie Redmayne also told IGN that it has been both “extraordinary” and “amazing” working as Newt Scamander, and he is quite excited for the film’s release.

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” which is directed by David Yates, will be released on Nov. 18.
