Fashion Night Out New York City: Soho Map and Itinerary

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2011 kicks off in New York City on Thursday night with Fashion's Night Out -- a citywide shopping event that incorporates food, drink, fun and supporting a good cause into expanding your wardrobe.

There are over a thousand stores participating in Fashion's Night Out, which makes it overwhelming to plan your night. We took advantage of Fashion's Night Out My Night out Feature to create a personalized map of the best shops and events to hit in Soho -- figuring that most fashionista would prefer to stick to one neighborhood.

Here's our recommended itinerary:

Start on Christie Street at Against Nature Atelier, then head west to Elizabeth Street and ADAM by Adam Lippes, where refreshments will be served.

Then you can stroll - or ride - over to 3.1 Phillip Lim and their Girls on Bikes Stop! -- although boys are welcome too. After that, Barbour, Agent Provocateur, and Acne Studio (which sells lovely Swedish-made clothing, not zits) are all a stone's throw away.

Ruia is open until 11 p.m., and hosting a Taste of Italy event, featuring a live book shoot and food, wine, and dessert!
