Celebrities, get your best red carpet looks ready because “Fashion Police” is coming back. The E! show will premiere on Monday, Aug. 31, at 8 p.m. EDT, the network announced via Twitter on Monday.

The return date comes after months of being hiatus. The show, which commentates on celebrity fashions, went on a break after co-host Giuliana Rancic made controversial comments about singer Zendaya’s hair in February. When Rancic said it looked as if the singer's dreadlocks smelled like marijuana, the host was accused of being racist. Rancic apologized for the offensive comments, but the controversy continued as co-hosts Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin both abruptly exited the show.

Griffin had been a replacement for Joan Rivers, who died in September. Replacing Griffin will be Rivers’ daughter Melissa, who has been an executive producer for the show for years. “I'm very excited to be given the opportunity to continue to work with my E! and ‘Fashion Police’ family,” she said in a statement in June. She'll be pulling double-duty as she remains an executive producer behind-the-scenes.

Melissa will appear alongside Rancic and stylist Brad Goreski. Rancic's “Fashion Police” gig will be her only on-camera position after she steps down from her position as an “E! News” host on Aug. 10. The trio will be joined by two celebrity guests each week.

When “Fashion Police” returns, they’ll be critiquing the looks from MTV’s 2015 Video Music Awards. With Miley Cyrus as the awards show's host, there are guaranteed to be some bold fashion choices for the hosts to bite into.
