First Uranium Corp., a uranium and gold mining company, said Friday that a worker in one of its South African facilities died in an incident that is under investigation.
The fatality occurred Thursday at the company's Ezulwini mine, which is about 25 miles southwest of Johannesburg, said Toronto-based First Uranium.
Besides the company's investigation into the fatality, the Department of Mineral Resource has launched a probe into the matter.
