While there hasn't been any news about "F.E.A.R 4," fans of the psychological horror-themed FPS can take comfort from the fact that "F.E.A.R Online" is currently being developed by Inplay Interactive.

"F.E.A.R Online" will be a free-to-play multiplayer game set in the "F.E.A.R" world that will allow for co-op play. You'll be able to team up with your buddies to take out threats both supernatural and earthly.

Details are scant at the moment. So, will Alma, the main antagonist of the "F.E.A.R" series, be featured prominently in "F.E.A.R Online?" We'll let the trailer answer that.

The release date for "F.E.A.R Online" is currently unknown, but you can sign up for the closed beta here. You'll be notified when the beta begins and if you've been chosen to participate via e-mail.
