The man who police arrested for suspicious activity in Arlington National Cemetery near the Pentagon last week is the same man who shot at military sites in Washington last October, court documents show.

Federal officials said Yonathan Melaku, 22, videotaped himself saying Allah Akbar after firing shots at the U.S. Marine Corps museum.

Melaku, a marine reservistm was arrested by U.S. Park Police with a backpack full of suspicious items.

Forensic evidence linked him to the five shootings at military buildings last fall.

Melaku had been charged with four counts of grand larceny last month after he was arrested for breaking into 27 cars in Leesburg, and stealing valuables.

Melaku, an Ethiopian-American, joined the Marine Corps Reserve in September 2007. He had won the National Defense Service Medal and the Selected Marine Corps Reserve medal.
