Since leaving Fifth Harmony in December, Camila Cabello has promised fans that she will be sharing a piece of herself with them by working on new music. However, the 20-year-old recently took a break from creating her solo album to explain how she prefers to express her feelings.

On Tuesday, Cabello replied to a tweet from singer Charli XCX, who posed a question for her followers. “Which do u prefer crying or laughing???? I literally don’t know they both feel so good,” she wrote.

Rather than simply giving a one-word answer, the “Bad Things” singer decided to explain the reasoning behind her answer. “Maybe crying but not like a cute little tear down ur cheek i mean a full on ugly cry when u get a headache and then go to sleep,” she tweeted.

“Lol I feel u,” Charli XCX replied.

Cabello’s explanation of her crying style comes nearly a week after the songstress shared some emotional tweets. On Thursday, the “Love Incredible” singer wrote, “Warning im overly sensitive today.”

Prior to that, she shared a picture of herself and wrote, “I'll never be the same.”

Despite the somber tweets, it could simply be the music that is making her feel a certain way. This singer has been working diligently on her solo album, hinting that she may be close to being done. “Just leaving the studio, im so excited to share this story with you guys... thank you for your patience,” she wrote Saturday.

It’s only a matter of time until fans can finally hear the music Cabello has been spending all her time on.
