After almost a year of constant shade and less than flattering quotes between Fifth Harmony and former member Camila Cabello, it looks like the ladies may have finally moved past their animosity for one another.

On Friday, while attending Z100’s Jingle Ball in New York City, 5H member Lauren Jauregui and Cabello seemingly waved their white flags, putting an end to the ongoing tension between the group and the 20-year-old singer.

Sources told Us Weekly Cabello and Jauregui crossed paths while backstage at Madison Square Garden and engaged in a conversation. Even though the insider said the two only spoke for a brief minute, it was a major step for the ladies, who haven’t been on good terms since Cabello ended her professional relationship with Fifth Harmony.

When Cabello’s departure from the group was announced on Dec. 19, 2016, things took a shocking turn. Shortly after the news was revealed, the singer and her former group members engaged in a brief social media feud.

In their initial statement, Fifth Harmony stated that they were unaware that Cabello planned to leave the group. However, when the “Havana” singer released her statement, she insisted that she informed the group of her plans well in advance.

“I was shocked to read the statement the Fifth Harmony account posted without my knowing,” she wrote at the time.

“Saying they were just informed by my representatives that I was ‘leaving the group’ is simply not true.”

The group then responded by revealing that they have tried to fix their relationship with Cabello through counseling sessions and meetings but the star refused to make an effort.

From there, the ladies went back and forth, throwing jabs at one another through interviews, subtle social media posts and a memorable MTV Video Music Awards performance that consisted of metaphorically kicking Cabello out of the group.

Although it seems neither the “Crying in the Club” singer nor Fifth Harmony was completely happy with the way their relationship ended it, it looks like Cabello and Jauregui have taken the first steps to create peace following a difficult break up.
