“Fifty Shades Darker” stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson are gearing up for the upcoming press tour to promote their movie.

According to Cosmopolitan, the co-stars’ previous press tour for “Fifty Shades of Grey” was awkward because both of them weren’t prepared to answer the more intriguing questions. New York Magazine’s The Cut also noted that Dornan and Johnson didn’t have much chemistry in the first film when they portrayed their roles as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. But even if this was the case, “Fifty Shades of Grey” still became the sixth R-rated film to top $500 million after its February 2015 release, according to Forbes.

Dornan and Johnson’s chemistry may have already improved by the second film after having worked together for several months for the first installment. In fact, the co-stars filmed “Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shades Freed” back-to-back, and this could have given them more time to bond and to get to know each other better. In “Fifty Shades Darker,” the onscreen couple is expected to have raunchier sex scenes, and it is their responsibility to make this as believable and appealing to fans.

Just recently, fans of the franchise got a first look at some of the scenes from “Fifty Shades Darker” in the teaser Universal Pictures released. In the two-minute clip, Christian and Anastasia engaged in a number of risque acts, including making out in the shower. At one point, Christian also touched Anastasia’s leg and moved his fingers upward while they were inside the elevator. The couple also had a scene while inside the red room, with Anastasia seemingly taking the lead.

But “Fifty Shades Darker” won’t only focus on Christian and Anastasia’s sex scenes. The couple will also go through some challenges involving Mrs. Robinson (Kim Basinger), Leila Williams (Bella Heathcote) and Jack Hyde (Eric Johnson).

“Fifty Shades Darker” is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Feb. 10.
