Instagram just got fifty shades more interesting! That’s right, Dakota Johnson, who stars in the film adaptation of E.L. James' best-selling novel “Fifty Shades of Grey,” has caved in and joined the rest of us picture-happy people on the social media sharing app.

The first image the 25-year-old red carpet beauty shared with her thousands of followers was a photo of herself “cuddling” with a Gyro Balanced Leather Speed punching bag. Looks like we now know how Johnson is preparing for her role as the coy and beautiful Anastasia Steele for the 2017 flick “Fifty Shades Darker.”

In the second book of James’ erotic franchise, Anastasia uses her fighting skills after her boss Jack Hyde threatens to release the scandalous emails written between her and Christian if she didn’t perform sexual favors. Enraged, Ana uses the self-defense training she learned against her conniving supervisor to get away. Could that be why Johnson is working on her jabs and crosses – to prepare for an impending altercation in the flick?

The second photo Johnson posted to her newly created Instagram account was a picture of all the A-lister’s “friends.” But instead of getting a glimpse of the cinema star with her pals, Johnson’s fans got a sneak-peek at her impressive music collection, which consisted of Miles Davis, Bob Dylan and Patti Smith.

Makeup artist Pati Dubroff greeted the brunette beauty to the world of Instagram on her own account. “Welcome to Instagram @dakotajohnson FINALLY!!!” she said, along with a photo of Johnson carefully applying a berry-colored lipstick. Debroff then added a second image of the actress puckering her lips with the clever caption that Johnson was “leaving her ‘mark’” on the social media account.

Now that Johnson has an official account, maybe she’ll even share a few, titillating behind-the-scenes images from the set of “Fifty Shades Darker” or perhaps even some adorable selfies taken with her co-star Jamie Dornan.. Regardless, we’ll be following Johnson and obsessing over all her photos until the anticipated sequel hits theaters in 2017.
