This is probably the greatest goal I’ve ever seen. Yes it was during a scrimmage, but still. There were obviously no cups or medals on the line, but it’s the offseason for the NHL so I’ll take what I can get.

During an intra-squad skills competition Kontinental Hockey League center Vladimir Tkachyov treated fans to one of the most incredible goals of recent memory.

The 20-year-old star for KHL club Ak Bars Kazan began his shot like any other penalty, but quickly picked the puck up, crossed the blue line and spun a minimum of five times before depositing the puck on the keeper’s glove side.

The crowd went crazy, while the Ukrainian born Tkachyov just skated on, seemingly unimpressed with his feat.

Tkachyov played for Russia at the World Juniors in 2013. He reportedly played in seven games scoring one goal with two assists.
