Many fans are currently arguing about Tifa’s new design for “Final Fantasy 7 Remake.” However, Square Enix and Team Ninja has recently confirmed that Tifa Lockheart will also be in the “Dissidia Final Fantasy NT” fighting game. This version of Tifa also wears an outfit much more similar to the original game.

As seen on her trailer, Tifa Lockheart brawls her way through the other “Final Fantasy” characters in “Dissidia Final Fantasy NT.” Tifa is confirmed to be a speedy character with fast approaches as she pummels her enemies with her fists.

Previously, Tifa Lockheart was already a playable character in a previous “Dissidia” title. Both titles show her brawler moves and her slot machine system albeit working in different ways. In the new trailer, the slot machine is a lengthy minigame that the player can do in battles for a power up. The trailer also showed some of her signature moves such as Dolphin Blow, Meteodrive, and Meteor Strike but the trailer didn’t show the names outright.

Speaking of previous iteration accuracy, the “Dissidia Final Fantasy NT” Tifa sports a more accurate outfit for her as she only has her white top, black skirt, red gauntlets and boots. More than athletic, Tifa sports a slimmer build.

Lastly, Tifa also has her Advent Children costume in “Dissidia” which sports a black top and bottom which shows less skin than her original costume. This game definitely beats “Final Fantasy 7 Remake” if it comes to original costume accuracy.

In the upcoming “Final Fantasy 7 Remake,” Square Enix showed its trailer with a Tifa with a more athletic build. Her attire is also slightly changed to look more sporty which explains her brawling fighting style. Fans had mixed reactions not only to the costume but to her bust which fans claim to be “smaller” than the original.

The developers explained in an interview that they’ve redesigned Tifa’s costume for a modern take and they had teams to look for its accuracy. While not all fans like Tifa’s redesign, her inclusion in “Dissidia Final Fantasy NT” will allow fans to play a game with her original design in it.
