The finance minister of Germany, Wolfgang Schaeuble today stated that the available measures towards helping Greece were more than just guaranteeing loans. Chancellor Angela Merkel is going over different measures because the European Union ways of aiding economies, were more than what the government had earlier presumed.

Germany is studying different ways of helping Greece with other finance officials to narrow the budget deficit down to the EU's limit of 3%, as it stood at 12.7% of last year's GDP.
