RTTNews - Finnish consumer confidence stood at 8.4 in June, up from 7.2 in May, the Statistics Finland said on Monday. This was the third consecutive month of increase in consumer confidence. In March, the consumer confidence indicator was minus 1.5.

In June, all four components of the consumer confidence indicator showed some improvement or remained almost unchanged from the previous month, the statistical office said.

The confidence indicator regarding nation's economic situation in 12 months' time decreased to 9.2 in June from 9.5 in May. However, the indicator measuring country's unemployment situation in 12 months time improved to minus 30.1 from minus 33.2 in May.

Meanwhile, the indicator measuring households saving possibilities in the next 12 months stood at 47.4 in June, up from 46.8 in May.
