RTTNews - Thursday, the Statistics Finland announced that the gross domestic product or GDP dropped a working day adjusted 11.4% year-over-year in May, after falling 9.5% in April, revised from 9.2% decline reported initially. A year earlier, the output of the national economy was up 0.8%.

On an original series, the GDP was down 12.8% annually in May, compared to the 11.4% fall in the previous month. The April figure was revised from 11.2% estimated previously.

Month-on-month, the GDP decreased a seasonally adjusted 1.9% in May.
