Finland's producer prices for manufactured products fell 6.1% year-on-year in March, faster than a 4.6% decline in February, the Statistics Finland said Friday.

Month-on-month, producer prices dropped 1.3% in March, following a 0.1% fall in the previous month.

In March, import prices slipped 7.5% year-on-year, while export prices declined 8.8%. On a monthly basis, import prices were down 0.6%, while export prices fell 1.7%.

Meanwhile, the wholesale price index dropped 5.5% annually and 0.7% on a monthly basis in March.

In a separate report, the statistical office said producer prices for services rose 2% year-on-year in the first quarter, slower than a 5.5% rise in the fourth quarter. Sequentially, producer prices were down 0.2% in the first quarter, reversing a 0.5% increase in the previous quarter.
