Friday, a report by Statistics Finland said the consumer confidence indicator increased to minus 1.5 in March from minus 3.9 in the previous month.
All the four main sub components of the consumer confidence indicator improved in March. Consumer's assessment of own economic situation in the next 12 months increased to 3.4 from 3.0 in February, while the sentiment regarding household saving possibilities in the next 12 months rose to 50.3 from 45.1.
At the same time, consumer's assessment of Finland's economic situation one year ahead improved to minus 13.6 from minus 14.4, while consumer sentiment regarding unemployment situation in the next 12 months increased to minus 46.1 from minus 49.4 in February.
