RTTNews - Finland's producer prices dropped 8.4% year-on-year in June, the Statistics Finland said Friday. But, it rose 0.4% on a monthly basis.

The monthly rise in producer prices was particularly attributable to increases in the prices of oil products and non-ferrous metals. However, the rise in prices was curbed by a fall in the price of fertilizers.

Export prices logged an annual fall of 9.6% in June and grew 0.2% month-on-month. On the other hand, import prices dropped 11.9% year-on-year and was up 0.8% compared to May. Moreover, the wholesale price index declined 9.7% with a monthly gain of 0.6%.
