Fiona Apple fans -- specifically of the ticket holding variety -- can finally breathe a sigh of relief. Authorities have announced that the singer was released from custody in a West Texas jail on Thursday, after posting $10,000 bail.

Apple, who is on tour promoting her latest album “The Idler Wheel,” was found with 0.01 pounds of marijuana and 0.01 pounds of hashish during a routine inspection at a checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas, according to the BBC.

Drug-sniffing dogs were allegedly able to detect the marijuana from outside of her tour bus, according to Rusty Flemming, a spokesman for the Hudspeth County Sheriff’s Office. When border patrol agents entered the vehicle, they found a blue backpack containing a sealed glass container, inside of which the drugs were stored.

Apple reportedly copped to owning the drugs, and spent Wednesday night in Hudspeth County jail. The 35-year-old singer was scheduled to perform a show the following day at the Austin City Limits festival, but shortly after her arrest her Facebook page was updated with an announcement that the show would have to be indefinitely postponed.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the Hudspeth County Sheriff’s Office said, "Fiona Apple Maggart, freely admitted that the controlled substances belonged to her and she was placed under arrest by U.S. Border Patrol agents and detained."

"Little Miss Fiona, last night her bus rolls in here, and the [drug-sniffing] dog hits the smell of pot from outside of the bus,” said Flemming. "With Fiona, if all she'd had was the marijuana, she would have gotten a ticket and none of this would have happened. But she had hashish, and in Texas, having any amount is a felony."

Apple’s publicist, Ambrosia Healy, declined to comment on the incident. "My guess is that there won't be any sort of statement given," said Healy.
