British popstar FKA twigs’ collaboration with the House of Matriarch for her debut fragrance line is a misleading one. On Tuesday it was reported that the 28-year-old singer will be creating a custom fragrance that will launch later this year. The House of Matriarch’s founder Christi Meshell announced the tie-up.

“We were not planning to announce anything; Tahliah (Twigs) and I are both annoyed by the spoiler. There appears to be some significant miscommunication at play,” said Meshell. She added that she was interviewed for her journey of creating the House of Matriarch brand and she spoke for about a minute of Twigs and it was misinterpreted.

Meshell connected with FKA twigs two years ago when she developed a custom perfume for the performer. Across the media, it was reported that FKA twigs inspired Meshell for a new fragrance. It was even said that they had not decided whether the upcoming scent will be a version of the custom perfume or a completely different fragrance.

Meshell said that the popstar will not sell the fragrance at retail stores like Wal-Mart, etc., but will sell it on her website. The House of Matriarch founder added that FKA twigs was very anti- establishment. And, so she will release it on her website as her fans are “dying for anything she drops.”

Meanwhile, FKA twigs turned heads at the 2016 Met Gala in New York on Monday night. She walked the red carpet along with her fiance and “Twilight” star Robert Pattison. She wore a figure-hugging, nude Atelier Versace gown.

The striking part of her ensemble on fashion’s biggest night was her head jewelry attached to her nose ring. The couple arrived at the venue, minutes after Kristen Stewart, Pattison’s ex posed for photographers.
