Jesse L. Martin as Joe
“The Flash” star Jesse L. Martin revealed that there is going to be a little drama between Joe and Cecile (Danielle Nicolet) in Season 3, episode 20 of the CW series. The CW

Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Cecile’s (Danielle Nicolet) relationship is going to take a big turn in next week’s Season 3, episode 20 of “The Flash.”

In a recent interview with TVLine, Martin reveals that Joe and Cecile find themselves in a sticky situation that might change their relationship forever. “We have a little situation where she said the magic words (I love you), and Joe wasn’t able to say the magic words back,” Martin shared.

While that incident is definitely a heartbreaking moment for Cecile, that isn’t the worst thing that happens to her in the installment. As revealed in a promo photo for the episode, Cecile gets kidnapped by Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) who seems to have aligned herself with Savitar.

According to the synopsis for the episode, Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team meet Tracy Brand (Anne Dudek), a genius scientist from the future who may be the key to stopping Savitar. Unfortunately, Caitlin’s (Panabaker) icy alter ego is also after Tracy, so Team Flash is forced to fight their old friend, which proves to be particularly difficult for Cisco (Carlos Valdes).

Perhaps, Team Flash gets to Tracy first. So Killer Frost kidnaps Cecile in an attempt to get what she wants.

“It’s a real test of Killer Frost’s abilities, and her devotion — how badly she wants to be a part of the dark side as they all sort of duke it out,” Panabaker previewed the episode in a separate interview with TVLine.

Also in the episode, Barry comes face to face with Savitar once again. “Everything with you is about time, isn’t it?” Barry tells the God of Speed in the trailer for the episode. “The past, the present, the future, you know all of it, right? You know our strengths, you know our fears. You know how much we love each other, and you know how to use that love against us.”

When Barry tells Savitar that he already knows who he is, the villainous speedster prepares to reveal his real identity to the Scarlet Speedster.

“The Flash” Season 3, episode 20, titled “I Know Who You Are,” airs on Tuesday, May 2 at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW. Watch the trailer below:
