Earth-2 Harrison Wells returns to Earth 1 in next week’s episode of “The Flash.”

According to the synopsis for Season 4, episode 3 of the CW series, Harry (Tom Cavanagh) comes back to Earth-1 to give Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) a message from Jesse (Violett Beane). While Jesse’s message for Wally remains unclear, one thing is for sure: Harry will be staying in Earth-1 for a little while.

In an interview with Collider earlier this month, executive producer Todd Helbing explained why they decided to put the limelight back to Harry this season.

“One of my favorite relationships is the Harry-Cisco (Carlos Valdes) relationship. It’s so fueled with annoyance, on both sides, so that was certainly attractive,” Helbing said. “We felt like there was still more story to tell with Harry, and that we could take him on a great emotional journey, this year, where maybe Harry needs to work on his interpersonal skills, a little bit. We’re going to round him out, as a person, and that’s been a lot of fun.”

“Season 4 for Harry is really realizing what he’s missing in his life and what it is he needs to become a better, more complete person, and so he’s going to be going on a fairly epic emotional journey this season that is tied to The Thinker’s (Neil Sandilands) plan,” Helbing’s fellow executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told Entertainment Weekly.

Elsewhere in the next episode, Barry (Grant Gustin) and the rest of Team Flash are hit by a string of bad luck and soon realize that their misfortune is the handiwork of Becky (Sugar-Lyn Beard), aka Hazard, a metahuman who has the ability to give others bad luck, while cashing in the benefits for herself.

“She’s got a good luck field. The more good luck she experiences, the more bad luck she spreads,” Cisco says of Hazard in the trailer for the episode.

“If Becky keeps winning, bad luck will keep spreading,” Barry adds.

While it’s unclear how Team Flash will defeat Hazard, Helbing assured fans that they will have a great time watching the episode. “It is one of the lightest episodes, in some regards, that we’ve done — and the most fun power that a villain has had,” the exec producer told Comic Book Resources.

“The Flash” Season 4, episode 3, titled “Luck Be a Lady,” airs on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 8 p.m. EDT on The CW. Watch the trailer for the episode below:
