RTTNews - Foreign residents became net purchasers of Japan stocks last week, but remained net sellers of Japan bonds and notes.

Japan's Ministry of Finance reported Thursday that foreign residents bought a net 5.0 billion yen worth of Japan equities for the week ending May 23.

Foreigners sold a net 267.8 billion yen in Japanese bonds and notes for the week.

Domestically, residents of Japan purchased a net 76.8 billion yen in foreign based stocks for the week, and were acquirers of a net 641.1 billion yen in overseas bonds and notes.
