RTTNews - Foreign residents became net sellers of Japan based stocks last week, but remained net purchasers of Japan bonds and notes.

The Ministry of Finance reported Thursday that foreign residents sold a net 52.5 billion yen in Japan stocks for the week of July 5 through 11, having been buyers the week before.

Foreigners purchased a net 130.6 billion yen in Japan bonds and notes for the week, their second straight week as net acquirers of bonds and notes.

Domestically, residents of Japan were net buyers of 52.4 billion yen worth of foreign stocks last week, their fourth straight week as net buyers.

Japan residents sold a net 679.3 billion yen in foreign bonds and notes for the week, having been net sellers the week before.
