FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Aussie rally from 0.8590 low on September 21 has reached a fresh 13 month high at 0.8790 on Wednesday's Asian session, and the pair has weakened ever since to ease to levels around 0.8725 at the time of writing, approaching support area at 0.8720.

The Aussie has been unable to break above 0.8850/75 resistance area, according to the Kshitij Consultancy Service Team, and failure to hold above 0.8720/50 could drive the pair to 0.8675-50: The Resistance region 0.8750-75 mentioned earlier held during the day and Aussie is now trading below 0.8750. Immediate Support is seen in the region 0.8720-00 a break below which might pull it down towards 0.8675-50 in the US session.

On the upside, above 0.8775, the Kshitij Consultancy Service Team observes 0.8850-0.8900 area: On the upside a break and a strong move above the Significant Resistance region 0.8750-75 might see a rise towards 0.8850-0.8900 in the coming sessions/days.
