FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The Australian Dollar is rising so far on Thursday. AUD/USD fell after the opening bell at Wall Street to 0.9242, reaching the lowest price of the day. But the pair strengthened and rose to 0.9290. Currently trades at 0.9280/84, 0.37% above today's opening price.
The Aussie was affected by a decline in gold prices that moved away from the record highs and fell to 1,205 an ounce. In the last hours the metal started to rise again helping the Australian Dollar rise back above the opening price.
Michael J. Malpede, analyst at Easy Forex comments: The technical outlook for the AUD is positive as the AUD rises to above 9000. Expect AUD support at 9185 with resistance at 9325 the November 26th high and 9400.
