FXstreet.com (Sydney) - The Aussie lost ground to the USD falling below 0.9300. The pair had earlier opened at 0.9304 but dropped sharply to an intraday low of 0.9236. The AUD/USD recovered to around 0.9319 before falling to current levels. The pair is considered slightly bearish and finds support at 0.9256 and resistance at 0.9316.

In Australia, wages rose albeit at a slower pace and was a signal to investors that a further interest rate rise in December was unlikely. Comments by the RBA earlier in the week did not help the Aussie either as it indicated that there was no great hurry to lift interest rates going forward.
