FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - Dollar resumed its uptrend on Tuesday and rose across the board closing the day at the highest level in month across the board. Greenback rose against the Euro for the sixth consecutive session. The Canadian Dollar was again among the few currencies to rise against greenback.
EUR/USD fell to 1.4515 reaching a fresh 3-month low. The pair then recovered but found resistance at 1.4275. GBP/USD closed below 1.6000 for the first time since October 13. USD/JPY rose to fresh 8-week highs. The pair approached to 92.00 but failed to break above.
Currencies tied to commodities repeated yesterday's behavior. The Canadian Dollar rose while the Australian and the New Zealand Dollar fell against the Dollar. Gold tumbled to 7-week lows and closed below 1,100 again.
