FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The Euro is retreating from one year high at 1.4845 on September 23, reaching, so far, 1.4535 low, and according to the Bank of NY Mellon Currency forecast, the trend is about to continue to hit 1.3600 by year end.

The Bank of NY Mellon Currency forecast, expects the Euro to decline from current levels to 1.3600 in the 4th quarter of the year, and pick up to 1.4000 by firs quarter next year.

In 2010 the the Bank of NY Mellon Currency forecast, expects the Euro to appreciate steadily; from 1.4000 in the first quarter, the pair would climb to 1.4250 in the second quarter and to 1.4500 in the third quarter and reach 1.4750 by the end of next year.
