FXstreet.com (Sydney) - The EUR lost recent gains against the dollar and the pair is now trading at 1.4876. The pair opened at 1.4875 and has been trading in a narrow channel since. The pair finds resistance at 1.4921, support at 1.4832 and is considered bullish.

The dollar bounced against most currencies as markets digested comments made by Fed's president Ben Bernanke. In rare comments about the dollar, Mr Bernanke said that the central bank was attentive to implications and changes in the value of the dollar. Some investors may have taken his comments to mean that further depreciation could spark inflation.
