FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The Yen is stronger across the board on Wednesday. Against the Pound a few minutes ago rose to a fresh 5-week high and is testing important levels. GBP/JPY fell to 145.9 reaching the lowest price in more than a month. The pair failed to hold below 146.00 and currently trades at 146.20/25, 0.37% below today's opening price. The Pound is falling for the second day in a row against the Yen.

The Japanese currency could gain momentum if it confirms below 146.00. To the downside, the next support levels lie at 145.40 and below at 144.50 (Sep 30 high) and 143.20 (Oct 6, 12 and 13 high).
