FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - Cable weakness across the board remains intact. GBP/USD tested levels above 1.6000 but failed to hold. In the last hour the pair regained the downside and fell to 1.5940. The next support lies at intra-day low at 1.5915. If the Pound breaks above 1.6040, could gain momentum, sending the pair higher. GBP/USD is plunging 0.75% on Friday, taking the weekly loss to almost 300 pips.
Against the Yen, Pound is extending losses. GBP/JPY is collapsing for the second day in a row. The pair is being traded below 143.00 for the first time since late April. At 142.50 Cable could find support at the bottom of a downtrend channel in daily charts.
GBP/CHF has fallen below 1.6400 to 163.70 posting a 5-month low. The pair has accumulated a big fall of more than 300 pips so far this week.
