FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - After breaking the 1.4535 support level, Cable is testing the 1.4500 level after the U.S. Opening bell. Today the pair has fallen 1.72% from opening price at 1.4771 to reach 1.4502, lowest since April the 2nd. Currently the pair is trading around 1.4505/15.
According to Valeria Bednarik, FXstreet.com collaborator, GBP/USD continues bearish in mid term:Pair is consolidating close to today's lows, accumulating almost 280 pips lost since Asian opening. With indicators exhausted in the hourly chart, due correction could extend to 1.4630 zone before further losses in the pair, as bigger time frame bearish trend remains intact.
