FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Sterling's decline from 1.6625 high on August 21 reached on Thursday a fresh 6-week low at 1.6153, before bouncing on early Asian session, to levels below 1.6300. At the moment, the Pound trades between 1.6260 and 1.6300.
Initial resistance lies at 1.6300 session top, and above here, further recovery could find resistance at 1.6350 (Aug 26 high) and 1.6400. On the downside, support levels lie at 1.6260 session low, and below here, 1.6155 (August 26 low) and 1.6120.
GBP/JPY decline from 156.80 high on August 24 found support at 151.05 on Thursday's U.S. session, and the Pound bounced to 152.95 high on Asian session to ease to levels around 152.55 ahead of the European session opening. Resistance levels lie at 153.00 and 153.34. On the downside, support levels are 152.30 and 151.00.
