FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The Dow Jones lost 0.92% and finished lower for the first time after gaining in the last six sessions. The Nasdaq dropped 0.82% and the S&P500 lost 1.03%. Crude oil fell 3% and trades below $77 a barrel. Dollar is consolidating gains across the board.

Dollar consolidates gains to EUR and JPY

EUR/USD holds below 1.4850 after tumbling to 1.4819, posting an intra-week low. GBP/USD is testing a resistance zone at 1.6590; Cable managed to recover against the Dollar and currently trades at the same level it had at the beginning of the day. USD/JPY peaked at 90.60, posting a fresh one-week high. The pair then pulled back but found support at 90.30. Greenback is also higher against currencies tied to commodities.
