FXstreet.com (Sydney) - The New Zealand dollar had a mixed result from overnight trade hitting a high of 0.7445 before returning to around 0.7400. The outlook for the pair is slight bullish finding support at 0.7402 and resistance at 0.7448.

The USD firmed after posting 15-month lows and analysts felt there was no immediate need to sell the dollar any further, adding however that an underlying weakness remained. The NZD did little against other currencies buying EUR 0.4947, JPY 66.49 and AUD 0.7282.
