Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone will consider postponing the inaugural Indian Grand Prix to make room for Bahrain.

What would have been the season-opening race in Bahrain was postponed after civil unrest deemed it unsafe to race. Since then, Ecclestone and the FIA have been trying to squeeze in the Bahrain Grand Prix, and one option that has been suggested is to move India from its current 30 October date to a week after the current final race in Brazil, i.e. December 4.

When queried about the possibility, Eccelstone said, We are having a look at it. Everything is possible. I'm not sure at the moment what I'm going to do. Everything's up in the air.

I haven't decided. We'll see if we have to go to Bahrain.

The sitauation in Bahrain is, according to the authorities, returning to normal.
