Megyn Kelly has given birth to a healthy baby boy. The Fox News Channel anchor welcomed her third child with husband Doug Brunt on July 23. The news was first announced by fellow anchor Shannon Bream on the Friday broadcast of “America Live,” which is usually hosted by Kelly.

“We just got details about Megyn Kelly’s big baby news. ... Here is the picture,” Bream said, while a photograph appeared on the screen, according to Us Weekly. “Say hello to Thatcher Bray Brunt.”

“Megyn and Doug’s third child was born at 8 pounds, 2 ounces,” Bream said. “He has brown hair, blue eyes; he is gorgeous. ... Mom says the best description of him -- and this is a quote -- ‘Totally awesome.’ Mom and Dad are thrilled, and so is Thatcher’s big brother Yates and his big sister Yardley.” Yates is 3, and Yardley is 2.

“Congratulations to Megyn, Yates, Yardley, and Thatcher from myself, the ‘America Live’ team, and everyone here at Fox,” Bream added. “Many more pictures when Megyn returns, so you’ll have to stay tuned for those.”

Kelly, 42, announced her pregnancy live on the air last Valentine’s Day. “Every Valentine’s Day, we always struggle to find just the right gift, and yet this year I believe that we found the perfect solution,” she said at the time. “Happily, Doug and I are expecting another baby.”

As previously confirmed, Kelly will be returning in the fall to a very different landscape at Fox News. The anchor is set to join Fox’s primetime lineup alongside the likes of popular mainstays Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Greta Van Susteren, Shepard Smith and Bret Baier. It isn’t yet clear how Kelly’s new show will fit into the already-crowded primetime schedule at Fox. Meanwhile, Gretchen Carlson, who left the “Fox & Friends” morning show to make room for Elisabeth Hasselbeck, will fill Kelly’s old daytime slot.
