On the heels of veteran Fox News host Bill O’Reilly's dismissal amid sexual harassment allegations, Fox News is battling a barrage of racial discrimination allegations. Multiple current and former employees came forward in recent days to file lawsuits against the company for discriminatory actions.

Mar. 28, 2017: Tichaona Brown and Tabrese Wright filed a lawsuit in Bronx Supreme Court in New York, alleging that “dark-skinned employees suffered years-long racial animus” from former senior vice president and company controller at Fox News, Judith Slater.

Apr. 4, 2017: Monica Douglas joined the lawsuit filed by Brown and Wright, amending the suit to include three people.

Apr. 10, 2017: New York City Public Advocate Letitia James called for an investigation into racial discrimination as well as sexual harassment alleged to have taken place at Fox News.

“No one should have to go to work fearful of sexual harassment or racism,” James said in a letter to the New York City Commission on Human Rights. “Fox News has created a perverse culture that has proven again and again to be unsafe for women and people of color. We must investigate the actions and inactions of Fox News on every level to ensure that the news agency is held accountable and this doesn’t continue.”

Apr. 18, 2017: Lawyer Lisa Bloom announced in a tweet that she would be representing a new woman in a “sexual and racial harassment” case against O’Reilly.

Apr. 25, 2017: Eleven people, all current or former Fox News employees, filed a class action lawsuit in which they claimed to have been demeaned, humiliated, passed over for promotions and paid less than white co-workers.

Apr. 25, 2017: In a separate lawsuit the same day, former Fox News accounts payable specialist Adasa Blanco filed a lawsuit in federal court claiming that her complaints about racial discrimination at the company were ignored and ultimately led to her quitting.
