France released its CPI for November coming in at 0.4%, higher than the previous -0.2% revised to -0.4%, yet lower than forecasts of 0.5%. On the month, the reading came in line with October's reading at 0.1%, 0.2% below estimates.
With regard to the EU Harmonised reading, it matched expectations of 0.5% on the year, exceeding the year earlier 0.2% decline. Also, it came analogous to the forecasted 0.2% on the month, yet higher than preceding -0.1%. CPI excluding tobacco index rose to 118.31 from the prior 118.23, yet lower than median expectations of 118.51.
