NEW YORK - Frontier Oil Corp (FTO.N) said Friday it will start in early October as planned work on a gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracker and a gofiner unit at its 130,000 barrel per day refinery in El Dorado, Kansas.

The work, which could last as long as five weeks, is seen extending into November, company spokeswoman Kristine Boyd told Reuters, contrary to a media report Friday that the refinery is expected to undergo planned maintenance mid to late September.
