Funnyordie.com has come up with a spoof on Field of Dreams centered around the lockout at NFL.

The video called Filed OF Dreams 2h premiered on ESPN and the funnyordie site. It is touted as the the biggest online production in the four-year history of the website, according to a statement.

The video stars Taylor Lautner of Twilight fame in Kevin Kostner’s role, Marielle Jaffe (Scream 4) playing Amy Madigan and Ray Liotta playing NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

NFL players who appear are Ray Lewis, DeSean Jackson, Tony Gonzalez and Shawne Merriman. They even had commentators like ESPN's Steve Levy and the NFL Network's Rich Eisen and Marshall Faulk making appearances. All as themselves. There is pleasant surprise sprung just at the end of the clip.

The 3-minute video centres around how corporate greed is allowed to take over the spirit of the game.

Funnyor die .com is a website launched by Will Ferrell and Adam Mckay.

The original idea came from Michael Kvamme, an aspiring young comedian, who thought of getting Hollywood and the Silicon Valley together to launch the site.

The project got funding by Sequoia Capital and later on HBO bought some stake in the site.

The funnyordie name is a take off on the famous cartoon Join or Die. Here viewers are allowed to vote on the clips and any video which gets a low vote is allowed to die or taken off and relegated to the sites’ ‘crypt’.

The site allows advertising firms to showcase their own ad campaigns and even allows companies to place their products in in-house clips which mostly feature Hollywood celebrities.

Funnnyordie even has a UK chapter. It intends to go into book publishing in the future.
