U.S. stock index futures extended gains on Friday as a government report showed that surprisingly far fewer-than-expected jobs were lost in November, reinforcing hopes of a recovery.

* S&P 500 futures rose 13.30 points and were above fair value, a formula that evaluates pricing by taking into account interest rates, dividends and time to expiration on the contract. Dow Jones industrial average futures gained 108 points, while Nasdaq 100 futures jumped 21.50 points.
